14Life is running faster everyday and we are loosing the chance to slow down and enjoy the ride.

We are running against the the clock and believe me you won't win unless you stop everything at once and just breath. In this world of rush, we have the chance to make a small difference in our lives and other's through creativity and craftiness.

It's time to create something amazing with your own hands instead of buying something already made. I believe embracing creativity we can change the world one stitch at the time. Sewing is amazingly therapeutic.

You want to start sewing and you don't know where to start... You need to get more ideas to teach your daughter how to sew but you don't have the time or energy to figure out the pattern.  Or you are just looking for new projects to get your creative wheel running — been there done that!

I'm MariaPalito and I help crafters, small business owners, creative people and moms to create their own toys at home from my designs. I provide all the step by step tutorials and the sewing patterns to teach others and my Toy Pattern Sewing Club members, how to sew the toys and re-connect with their creativity through sewing.

How I became a Toy Sewing Pattern Designer?

I am crazy about new projects and new beginnings. you know that feeling you got when an empty piece of paper it’s ready for you to create something amazing. Rather than freeze, dream about the possibilities. That’s what I feel every time I create a new toy! I began 7 years ago with some basic illustrations for my Etsy Shop, I was just starting and I was stumbling between greeting cards, paper jewelry, scrapbooking and who knows what else, when It just struck me.

I wanted to transform my own drawings into real huggable felt toys. The truth is I was lost and I didn't know where to start.

I just pulled the sewing machine my hubby had found in a pawn store and bought for $30 and that day I transformed a duck from a piece of paper to a cute felt toy, and to be honest it was cute in an ugly way but I loved it and I haven’t stopped creating toys and plushies since then.

After trying many times to sew the toys using my sewing machine I decided to start stitching by hand each one and I love the process, the finished toys are better and it is a very therapeutic hobby.
